In 2019 Hannah Thompson won the Public Speaking section of the Lion's Youth of the Year at the Derrinallum Hall.
Participation has profound and lasting benefits for students with it's emphasis on critical thinking, developing effective communication skills, and teamwork. Students also learn the benefits of tolerance, nonviolence and respect for different points of view.
